Beyond the Return is an initiative that started in Ghana in continuation of the Year of Return, the 400th year of the arrival of the first recorded enslaved Africans in Jamestown, Virginia in 1619. The focus is to reconnect the diaspora to the motherland and celebrate the return to our origin/roots.
